B Kumar
M.A. (Eco), Ph.D.(Eco)
Dr. Kumar is Assistant Professor (Economics) at NIFM. He is a prolific writer and a regular participant in academic and policy debates. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics. He also has a Doctorate Degree in the same. He has more than 13 Years of teaching, training, consultancy and research experience. He has worked at Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University) for nearly ten years. He has also been Consultant to the Ford Foundation-sponsored project.
He has been involved in the same capacity for two other projects sponsored by UNESCO and the UGC-sponsored project. He has been associated with other research projects which include IDPAD-ICSSR and ICSSR. Dr. Kumar has participated and presented research papers at national seminars and international conferences in India and abroad. He has been Programme Coordinator of Management Development Programme organized for the various central and state government officers. Dr. Kumar is a recognized resource person in the area of Data Analysis in Social Sciences Research using statistical & econometric software.
He has been Asst. Editor to a monthly Magazine titled “Monthly Economic Digest”. He is Managing Editor to biannual periodical titled “NIFM Journal of Public Financial Management”. His areas of interest include mathematical economics, business economics, managerial economics, computer applications in economics, research methodology and econometrics.
