International Conference on “Actions to Accelerate Women-Led Development”

The Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) is committed to promoting research in public financial management, economic growth, finance and accounting, public financial administration, and public expenditure management. AJNIFM also houses a dedicated Gender Responsive Budgeting Cell, which works towards advancing gender equity through specialized training programs, workshops, and research initiatives.

We invite submissions for the International Conference on “Actions to Accelerate Women-Led Development”, which will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders including policymakers, academicians, NGOs, entrepreneurs, media professionals, youth, and community leaders. The conference will focus on global and regional trends in gender studies, best practices, and models for achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment.

This event offers a platform for dialogue among experts in government, public policy, economics, social sciences, and gender studies. It aims to strengthen empirical and theoretical discourse on women-led development, with special attention to India’s landscape.

Deadlines and Submission:

  • Abstract submission deadline: 20th January 2024
  • Notification of Acceptance: 25th January 2025
  • Full paper submission deadline: 15th February 2025
  • Program Schedule Notification: 08th April 2025
  • Last Date of Registration: 02nd April 2025

Registration Fee & Expenses:

No registration fee for paper presenters. Accommodation, meals, and conference kits will be provided by the Institute. Travel expenses must be borne by the participants.

Submission Procedure:

Submit an abstract (300–500 words) in English to jaya@nifm.ac.in by 20th January 2024. The abstract should outline research purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.

Include research background, methodology, key findings, and evidence-based policy recommendations. Mention name, affiliation, position, and email of each author. Clearly mark the corresponding author.
